Main sectors of research
Inventory (biodiversity, living resource, coastal seawater quality); Evaluation of impact (fishing, yachting, anchoring..); Genetics (sea urchin population dynamics)

Current major projects
* Sea urchin population dynamics (inventory, genetics, experimental production);
* PCC: inventory of the biodiversity of fishes post larvae in the Brusc lagoon (2 technics: “crest net” and light-trap called “CARE”);
* Fishes inventory on the Toulon (Var) west coast;
* Fan shell Pinna nobilis (missions of inventory, studies on biology and ecology, larvae briding);
* Experimental breeding of the Mediterranean sea-horse;
* A full study of a creek in the Calanques (bathymetry and biocenosis, fish and echinoderma counting, water analysis);
* Threatened species : Counting missions of Mediterranean grouper and corb with the association of grouper study;
* Quality of seawater (bacteriology, toxic dinoflagellate)
