Your registration package will give you access to five-day congress scientific sessions, plenary panels and a variety of events. These include two official receptions, morning pastries during poster sessions, plus afternoon coffee breaks. Accepted papers presented to the Congress will be published in the online CIESM 43rd Congress Proceedings.

CONGRESS FEES

The Congress fees concern scientists based in a Full CIESM Member State (*).

(*) Full CIESM Member States are countries that have acquitted their 2023 statutory contribution to CIESM by 30 January 2024. In all other cases (countries not Members of CIESM and CIESM Member States not in good standing), an extra charge will be applied. If your country will regularise its 2023 CIESM membership before May 2024, the extra charge will be refunded to your credit card. Please note that your registration fee refers to the country where you are based, not your country of origin.

(**) Young scientists (born after 1st January 1994) will withdraw their badge at a special Congress registration desk, upon presentation of their national ID or passport {no other document}.

(***) Countries with emerging economies: Among CIESM Member States, Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria and Tunisia fall under this category.

Cancellation policy

Congress registration fees are not refundable when due to cancellation by the author.
In case of rejection of your paper by the relevant Committee Chair, 80% of the registration fee will be refunded to the author.
