Habitat and Ecology

Bentho-pelagic species living on sandy bottom in shallow tropical waters.

Distribution

Mediterranean record: First record in Turkish waters (1997). Second occurence in southern Tunisia (2004).
Establishment must be confirmed.

Original distribution: Indian Ocean, from Red Sea to Persian and Oman Gulf.
