Field equipment: Scuba diving equipment, multiparometric probe, differential GPS, field instruments for physical-chemical parameters in water (pH, Eh, O2, salinity temperature, conductivity). Field video system including: remote controlled cameras for large and small field views,. remote controlled mechanical arm for displacing video camera, telemetry, sediment corers. Radio transmittable video data acquisition, radio transmittable acquisition of abiotic parameters (temperature, current).
Laboratory facilities & equipment: Workstations, microscopes, sieves laser granulometer, Spectrophotometer, Respirometry, Flow Tanks.
Laminar flow hood, Elctrophoresis system, Freezer –80°C, Digital Camera and Gel image analysis software, High speed centrifuge, PCR system, all necessary equipment extraction of nucleic acids, DNA fragment analysis system, Video camera monitoring system, High speed video camera system (1000 frames per s) Self –tracking camera, Time lapse recording system, Fish tanks for behavioural observations. Chemical laboratory for colorimetric analysis, Dionex DX 500 – Ionic chromatographer, TOC-Total organic carbon analyser – Shimadzu 5000A, Galai CIS 1 laser grain size analyser, Multiscope-Matra – Cap System for image processing of aerial photos and satellite images.
Large storage facilities for samples: Wet Labs, Building annexed.
